Key:
After boarding a plane from Xiamen to Beijing, the author found he had lost his passport. How worried he was at that time! He tried to hide his panic, but in vain. The flight staff and other passengers could tell. To his surprise, the flight was held up just because of his passport! Now everybody began to help to look for his passport in the airport, the runway, the shuttle bus and the passenger cabin. There was not a complaining voice. They were all willing to help. The author was about to despair of finding the passport when a woman found it! The author was very relieved when he finally got his passport. He was grateful for those kind people who had helped to find it. He felt that he had been treated not only as a foreigner, but also a friend in need.
